The Buyer Report exists because the honest buying advice most readers want is harder to find every year. We test the products we write about in our own homes and on our own yards, for as long as it takes to form an opinion we are willing to stake our reputation on.
We accept no payment for coverage. We do not take free product in exchange for placement. We do earn an affiliate commission when readers buy through links on our site, and we spell out exactly what that means on our Ethics page.

A small editorial team of writers, testers, and tradespeople based across North America. Between us we have spent a combined six decades evaluating tools, appliances, and outdoor gear in working contexts.
